What is Launchpoint?
Think of a Launchpoint as a 20-Club lite group. Rather than starting with a large commitment to digging in-depth into each profitability center for your store, you will be looking at high level items with minimal effort on data entry.
In these groups, you would work with non-competing dealers to share best practices, review data, and discuss the latest industry trends.
The outcome? A start to shrink the learning curve, avoid costly mistakes, and implement strategies that drive success. Although we know there’s simply no better way to learn *"what works—and what doesn’t" than through the power of a 20 Club, this is a great way to dip your toe into a group and start to see the benefits of sharing knowledge.
What does your Launchpoint report cover?
You will be asked to share the following data points:
- Total New Unit Deliveries
- Total Used Unit Deliveries
- New Gross Profit Dollars
- Used Gross Profit Dollars
- Finance Profit
- Floor Plan Interest Expense
- Total Hours Per Repair Order
- Parts Per Repair Order
- PG&A Gross Margin
- Inventory
- What was the overall net operating profit % of the store
Will there be a large commitment on my part?
Although this is a much smaller commitment than joining a full 20 Club or Premier Reporting, there is a commitment to preparing and inputting your dealership's numbers and a commitment to your peers to show up to every meeting prepared and ready to be involved in a meeting for 90 minutes every month. Lastly, there is still a commitment to yourself to become better and more profitable.
What is the cost to be in Launchpoint Club?
Participation in a Launchpoint group costs $350 per month. There is no set up fee or additional boot camps required for these clubs. And you can earn 40% off if you sign up for the whole year!
