Ducati – March 18th – Stimulus Package – 

REGISTRATION BONUSES - Ducati will guarantee $600 MY ‘19 Registration Bonus payment for all dealers regardless of target achievement retroactive from January 1, 2020 to March 31, 2020 on all eligible retailed MY19 inventory

EXTENDED TERMS ON PARTS INVOICES -Ducati will extend terms on Parts, Apparel and Accessories invoices due in March by 30 days. This will apply to invoices that have not been transferred over to DFS only.

EXTENDED FLOORING - Qualified orders are currently receiving the benefits of May 1, 2020 terms and June 1, 2020 terms on program orders from Q4 2019. Current Q1 program orders are receiving 120 day terms from date of invoice. Ducati will reimburse interest paid on MY ‘19 inventory from March 16, 2020 through March 31, 2020. Dealers will make their floor plan payments per normal, and receive an ACH credit back to their bank account from DFS for the expense related to their 2019 inventory accrued from March 16, 2020 through March 31, 2020.
CURTAILMENT SUPPORT - released March 19th

As a measure of support for Ducati Financial Services Floorplan Dealers, the standard curtailment schedule (i.e. principal payments) will be waived March 1st -June 30th for the following vehicles: All new Ducati Floorplanned Units (including Demo and Presold Collateral Types)

On July 1st curtailments will resume as normal.

 

Kawasaki – March 19th 

FLOORING INTEREST: KMFC will waive all flooring interest charges for the months of March and April 2020.

CURTAILMENTS: KMFC will suspend all curtailment charges for the months of March and April 2020.

DEALERSHIP CLOSURES/HOURS OF OPERATION CHANGES: If your dealership is subject to closure or if hours of operations change please contact your District Manager to reschedule vehicle, and parts and accessories shipments.

WARRANTY CLAIMS: The normal 30 day warranty submission deadline will be extended to 90 days. All recalls still must be completed prior to vehicle retail.

FIELD SUPPORT TEAMS: All field support Team Members will suspend dealer visits until further notice. Field Support Team Members will be working from home at full capacity to service your dealership needs.

 

Updated Kawasaki Dealer Support Enhancements - March 25th

KMFC Floor Plan Service Fee – Monthly KMFC Floor Plan Service Fees will be waived for the months of March and April 2020. This is in addition to ZERO KMFC floor plan interest charges and NO curtailment fees for these months.

Shred into Spring Savings Parts & Accessories Program – Starting in April, we will extend two (2) months of additional installment payments to Tier 2 and 3 terms. Tier 1 terms (90 day terms) will be split into two payments when due.

 “Good TimesTM” Sales Event – The “Time to Ride Sales Event” will be extended 4/1/20 – 4/30/20 in place of the start of the “Good TimesTM Sales Event”. The “Good TimesTM Sales Event” is now targeted to begin in May, and will include our largest National media buy of the year. Our reason for delaying the start of the “Good TimesTM Sales Event” is to ensure media dollars and marketing promotions are timed and available when you and potential customers are able to connect.

o To provide additional support during the month of April, Co-op reimbursement will be increased to 100% on all dealership advertising per normal Co-op guidelines.

Updated Kawasaki - April 1 - P&A

Update Yamaha - March 20th 

Floorplan Interest and Fees Support: Yamaha will pay all Yamaha Financial Services floorplan interest and fees for the period of March 20, 2020 through April 30, 2020.

• March 31, 2020 Billing Statement - This support will be applied as an adjustment after your statement is generated and will be reflected on accessCompass prior to the due date.

• April 30, 2020 Billing Statement - This support will be reflected on the billing statement; no additional action required.

Curtailment Support: Yamaha will suspend all curtailment payments for the March 2020 and April 2020 billing periods.

Dealers utilizing the Yamaha Financial Services and Safehold Risk inventory insurance program should continue to make payments as billed to ensure continuous coverage.

Dealer Retail Incentives: On Wednesday, we announced Salesperson Incentives on select Motorcycles, ATVs, and Side-by-Sides through March 31. We also announced new and enhanced

Customer Cash offers good through April 30. Full details of these can be found in the program bulletins on YDS.

Retail Reserve: To assist with your dealership cash flow during this time, we will begin paying Retail Reserve monthly instead of quarterly. Q1 will be paid out as usual, then, beginning with April, payouts will move to monthly.

Call Centers: Our Customer Service and Technical Support lines are open and available to meet your needs. Additionally, our Order Desk, Incentives, and YMU teams are available via phone and email to assist you as well.

Field Support: Your District Managers are not out in the field, but they are always available to support you.  


 

Polaris ORV– March 19th

Future Order Flooring Support-

  • From 3/18- 3/31 any shipments will receive 180 days flooring.

  • For dealers who set their Q2 profile in their recommended range, all shipments during Q2 will receive 180 days of flooring support.

Retail Reward Adjustments* US dealers-Removing your Fast Start and Base goal and you are auto qualified at those level. Bonus goal remains the same.

Home Delivery- We also realize that some interested customers may not want to come to the dealership to purchase at this time. To support retail for these customers, Polaris will allow customers interested in buying to request home delivery. And to support this request, Polaris will temporarily suspend the requirements under Section 5(b) and 5(f) of the Dealer Agreement which will allow dealers to complete the sales transaction remotely and to deliver the vehicle to the consumer’s home. Pre-delivery inspection is still mandatory, and it must be completed and documented. The program is strictly voluntary, dealers interested in providing this service should consult with your legal and insurance advisors to ensure your dealership is adequately covered for these services outside your dealership. Also, in these rapidly changing times, please be sure to stay alert for, and to comply with any restrictions imposed on your business operations by the authorities.

Update - April 1st

Polaris is announcing a change to the MAP Policy effective April 1, 2020 for select MY20 All-Terrain Vehicles (“ATV”), RANGER, and RZR (collectively, “ORV”) Value Models. All the following models are now EXEMPT from MAP Policy.  

Value Models: NO MAP for current MY20 products:

ATV - 450 Base, 450 EPS: 570 Base, 570 EPS

RANGER - 500, 570 Full-Size, 1000 Base, GENERAL Base

RZR - 570, 900 Base, S 900 Base

BRP suspends all worldwide manufacturing operations - April 2, 2020

BRP has announced that, due to the rapid evolution of the COVID-19 situation, the company is temporarily suspending or slowing down all of its powersports and marine manufacturing operations around the world. 

In a release, the company says “These actions are being taken to allow us to evaluate and respond to the changing conditions, as well as to respect international health and safety recommendations in the face of the current crisis.

“Each facility manufactures different products and, therefore, production line temporary slowdowns or suspensions vary according to local regulations, all of which are being monitored and adjusted daily. Regional solutions are being tailored to protect our employees and maintain our ability to resume production as soon as feasible. 

“When and at what frequency the different production lines resume will vary, and the situation is being monitored closely. Slowdowns or reduced work hours are also being implemented for office staff worldwide.

"BRP is remaining very agile during the quickly evolving by deploying prudent measures, in order to ensure the safety of our employees and partners.”

 

KTM – March 19th 

EXTENDED FLOORPLAN SUPPORT- will provide relief for motorcycle floorplan interest charges incurred in March and April. The interest charges will be paid by KTM, as per the program details below

• All models/model years on a dealer’s Wells Fargo floorplan as of March 19, 2020

• Motorcycles no longer covered by free flooring as of March 1, 2020

• Motorcycles with a free flooring end-date in March or April


 

Slingshot - March 20th

Floorplan Interest & Fees Support: Polaris will be covering all flooring interest payments on whole goods from March 20th – May 31st.  Specific details about changes to your floor plan financing with Polaris Acceptance will be provided shortly. Please contact your Account Manager at Polaris Acceptance if you have any questions in the meantime.

Flooring Support:  

  • For dealers set up on RFM auto-reorder all open and new orders placed from 3/18 – 6/30 will receive an additional 30 days of flooring, 210 days of total flooring support.

  • For dealers who are not on auto-reorder all open and new orders placed from 3/18 – 6/30 will receive an additional 30 days of flooring, 150 days of total flooring support. Work with your DSM if you desire to “opt-in” to the auto-reorder function.

Suzuki - March 20th

SMAI will cover all March special terms flooring interest and related service charges for any new Suzuki motorcycle, scooter or ATV model for which such charges are incurred during the month of March. While the interest due on your special terms product will show on your Wells Fargo CDF March interest bill, SMAI will work with Wells Fargo CDF to clear those balances prior to the April 15th due date.

 

Yamaha Canada - March 20th 

Curtailments - Curtailment payments due in March will be postponed to June. Yamaha will evaluate the market at the end of March concerning April curtailments and advise accordingly.

Parts Payments - Deferred payments due in March will be postponed to June. Yamaha will evaluate future parts payments and advise accordingly.

Retail Finance Docu-Sign Enhancement – We have fast-tracked Phase 2 of this deployment, making it available to you right now.

  • The new feature will allow you to upload and tag for signature your own documents necessary for executing retail transactions (EX. Bill of Sale). This feature enhancement will improve your ability to work remotely and be more efficient.

Retail Finance Program Enhancements – Amendments to our standard Powersports rate sheet will be delivered very soon.

  • The changes will provide you with additional options to retail units. In addition, we have extended the current marine retail finance incentive from May 31st to July 31st

 

With regards to Floorplan Interest Rate Relief, we appreciate there is considerable concern here and will have an announcement for you next week.

Update on March 23rd -

Floorplan Interest Waivers – Yamaha Motor Finance Canada will temporarily waive interest payments owing by Yamaha dealers for the months of March and April 2020. 

 

Triumph - March 20th

Triumph Staff Support

Triumph Motorcycles America’s office will remain open with limited management staff, while our office staff as well as our Sales and Regional Managers will now be working from home. All staff can be reached via email or their normal Triumph business line as listed in the Triumph Dealer Guide. This will ensure we continue to provide you and your dealership with the highest level of uninterrupted support possible as well as placing the health and well-being of our employees at the forefront.

Dealer Support

  1. For the months of April and May 2020 Triumph Motorcycles America will cover all Wells Fargo New Triumph Motorcycle floorplan interest for all dealers who participated in 2020 Phase 1 and Phase 2 Model Forward Order programs at an 80% or higher participation level.

  2. All Triumph Parts, Accessories and Clothing invoices due in March will be deferred for 30 days.

Marketing

Triumph will continue with our aggressive digital and social marketing program to support our strong retail promotions and industry leading new models for the coming months. 

 

Vanderhall

To be eligible for Vanderhall incentives, the dealer needs to be in good standing with the V-DIP Tier program (Vanderhall Incentive Platform). Dealers must also accept the V-DIP required replenishment and maintain their V-DIP Status for the remainder of their 2020 V-DIP term or dealer will forfeit this incentive.

Duration

Begins: 3/20/2020

Ends: 5/31/2020

Program Specifics

  • Dealer shall receive a $1000 open parts credit for each 2020 new Vanderhall vehicle sold and warranty registered between 3/20/2020 and 5/31/2020, Blackjack Venice, and Blackjack Carmel Excluded.

 

  • Dealer shall receive a $2500 open parts credit for each 2018 or 2019 new Vanderhall vehicle sold and warranty registered between 3/20/2020 and 5/31/2020.

 

  • MAP Policy shall no longer apply on 2018 Vanderhall vehicles.

 

Kymco - March 31st

During these times of uncertainty, we will be offering flexibility on both the Fall and Spring/Summer Booking Programs.

All penalties and cancellation fees are waived for the Fall Booking order

Our Spring/Summer Booking Program order period is extended until July 15, 2020 

We are offering 90 days interest free flooring on all orders of 1-9 units

We are allowing all shipments to be delayed at your request

In addition, KYMCO USA will cover interest due by dealers on ALL model year 2020 units for dealers who participated in an eligible program for April, May, and June 2020. The eligible dealers booked on either the Fall 2019 Booking Program, Spring/Summer 2020 Booking Program, New Year Extravaganza Container Sale, and/or New Dealer Booking Program and are currently unsold. Eligible booking dealers currently have terms of 90 days or more. This will not apply to any dealers with 30-day terms. It is only applicable for 2020 model year.

Also, Wells Fargo has announced additional benefits to all qualified retailers using CDF Floor plan services. For April and May, Wells Fargo will DEFER interest charges calculated on an ADB or FLAT interest rate for 60 days: i.e. April > June & May > July. They are also deferring all scheduled payments, curtailments, and due in full.  

Northpoint is waiving curtailments and scheduled (SPP) payments that are due on our Northpoint account for the months of April, May, June, and July.
