Derrick comes to us from the Bicycle Industry, where he spent the last 15 years working on the retail side of the business. Playing both Sales and Service, he understands what it takes to succeed, and is passionate about creating the best possible customer experience.
Derrick grew up in Pennsylvania. Motorcycles have been in the family since he can remember, and at one time there was a family dealership, though he never got to see it. He bought his first motorcycle when he was 16, and it was about that same time that he discovered mountain biking, which ultimately set him on the path of a career in the Industry.
In search of nicer weather, and the next step in his career, Derrick moved to North Carolina and started working with the shop that introduced him to what next-level retail looks like. Focusing on customer service, process, and creating the ultimate experience inside the store is what has led to his success. "Put the people first, the product second, and the money will follow."
When he is not at work you'll find him hanging with his girlfriend, Holliday. Most likely riding together, playing outside, or exploring somewhere around the country in their van.
