A faster way to identify dealership profitability
New data integration with CDK EVO announced
Powersports industry leaders CDK Global Recreation and Garage Composites are teaming up to provide dealers a faster, more efficient way to identify the profitability of their operation through a new integration.
Hundreds of powersports and motorcycle dealerships across North America input their store data each month into an online portal developed and maintained by Garage Composites, the industry leader in 20 clubs and dealership training. The Garage Composites’ portal provides national benchmarks and industry averages so dealers can identify growth opportunities within their sales, F&I, service and parts departments.
Dealers using CDK Global’s Lightspeed EVO will no longer have to type DMS data into the Garage Composites’ portal thanks to the newly created integration, saving them valuable staff time and allowing for more focus on implementing strategies to improve their store’s profitability.
"The new intregration is great," said Kim Harrison, general manager of Coleman Powersports, a multi-brand metric dealer with two locations in Virginia. "Once you have everything mapped and set up, it takes just a few minutes to download your dealership data into the Garage Composites' portal."
To encourage use of the new integration, CDK Global Recreation is allowing new Lightspeed EVO dealers to get up to a $1,000 reimbursement for their expenses in using a third-party company, the Accounting Guys, to install the integration. Existing Lightspeed EVO dealers can get up to a $250 reimbursement for their expenses in using The Accounting Guys for set-up help.
Lightspeed EVO dealers, however, can install the new integration without outside support. Current Lightspeed EVO dealers can start the integration by accessing Service Connect, clicking on the “Get Help” button in the upper right-hand corner of their system and then searching for “Garage Composites.” The resulting document outlines the download, setup and implementation process for the integration.
